SoftBillo Ltd ("SoftBillo", "we", "us") provides invoicing and AI bookkeeping software via softbillo.com and our mobile apps. We act as a data controller for account data and as a data processor for the financial records you create or upload.

• Account data — your name, email, password hash and workspace settings.
• Business data — invoices, clients, expenses and any documents you upload.
• Connected accounts — credentials and metadata for payment providers and accounting tools you connect.
• Usage data — device, browser, IP and basic analytics needed to keep the service running.

• To provide the service you signed up for.
• To improve reliability, security and product quality.
• To send you transactional emails (receipts, alerts) and — only with your consent — product updates.
• To meet our legal and tax obligations.

We do not sell your data. Ever.

Your data is hosted with reputable cloud providers in the EU and UK, encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is restricted to a small number of vetted SoftBillo staff who need it for support or operations.

We keep your data while your account is active. After cancellation we keep it for 90 days so you can re-activate or export, then we permanently delete it (except where law requires us to retain it longer — e.g. invoices for accounting purposes).

You can access, export, correct or delete your data from inside the app. EU/UK users may also request data portability or object to processing — email privacy@softbillo.com.

We rely on a small set of trusted subprocessors (cloud hosting, payment providers, email delivery, error monitoring). A current list is available on request.
